How does Estrace Works?

Estradiol shows its therapeutic action by interacting with a target cell receptor (Erα or Erβ) which is present within the cytoplasm of the cell. Once estradiol is bound to its receptor ligand, the receptor enters the nucleus of the target cell and persue the development of messenger RNA. This mRNA interacts with ribosomes to liberate a specific protein that shows the effects of estradiol on the cell.
